Red Grossinger, PresidentCanadian Sasquatch Research Organization
Retiring to the Yukon in 1987, I worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation for injured workers and vocational training for adults with disabilities for a number of years. Then, I operated my own river boat on the Yukon river and later managed a private security firm before full retirement in 2005. I became interested in the Sasquatch phenomenon in 2003 after experiencing a number of unexplainable occurrences which were later described to me as Sasquatch activities. I belong to a number of Sasquatch/Bigfoot organizations and occasionally partake in forum discussions with these organizations. I joined the Canadian Sasquatch Research Organization in 2005 when it had the prefix "Western". Wrote a 400 page Sasquatch research procedures and protocols manual in 2007, for the WCSRO, and I just completed the "Sasquatch Field Research Handbook", a 65 pages pocket size field guide. These were written due to a lack of serious reference and research "field guide" type of books, where Sasquatch research and investigation methods are explained in details using plain language. Since 2005 I have investigated 24 Sasquatch related occurrences and encounters in the Yukon and Northern BC, the most recent being a double Sasquatch sighting, a male with a pregnant female, observed in central Yukon. At the present I'm working on a "Sasquatch Research Training Program" to be taught in the Yukon, starting in 2010, and the production of Sasquatch related research, investigation, training and experiment videos which should be available in 2011. I'm an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing and wilderness camping. When not investigating Sasquatch related events, or writing, I spend most of my time in the wilds of the Yukon. I suppose I would describe myself, at this point in my life, as a "Full Time Sasquatch Researcher"! Copyright © 2009 • CSRO • Canadian Sasquatch Research Organization, All Rights Reserved |
